The goal of this project was to design an innovative contemporary brochure website for both desktop and mobile that promotes and allows users to book a customisable physical experience which lasts from 30 minutes to a full day long.

01

Overview

Designing an innovative contemporary brochureware website.

In this project, I designed for WildLogic, a company specialising in puzzle-based quests in natural settings. I was responsible for crafting the brand identity, user experience, and website design. The key challenge was capturing the essence of the outdoor adventure while delivering a complete product within a 4-week timeframe.

02

Research

Building the experience.

I researched audience types, their interests, and priorities to tailor the experience. Simultaneously, I explored themes in depth to generate related physical activities.

After my research:

  • I created mood boards and brainstormed activities that connected audiences with relevant themes.

  • I gathered visual references for my escape room-inspired puzzle quest, set in nature and designed for a gamer audience.

  • I refined the experience’s look and feel, guiding my design.

  • I developed game options, crafted the storyline, designed puzzles, and shaped each game’s aesthetic.

03

Design

Designing the site.

I analysed escape room and adventure sites like Go Ape to study layouts, user flows, and design elements. These insights shaped my wireframes and overall site structure, including the homepage, game pages, and booking process.

Throughout the design process, I experimented with colours, shifting from lighter tones to a darker palette to enhance mystery and contrast with vibrant images. I also created unique logos for each game to add individuality and make the website more dynamic and engaging.
